ARE YOU A YELLOW-WHITE-PINK GOLD TYPE?

Goldcan be in multiple colors. In the fashion world, the commercial colors areyellow(natural color),white(mix of gold with palladium or nickel) andred or pink(mix of gold with copper and silver). For some, yellow or pink is better, for others white. It may be that one color variation makes you more attractive and another variation does not. You can find out through simple tests.

 

 

WARM OR COOL UNDERTONE

The undertones of your skin, hair and eyes are good guides to know which color gold suits you best.

hot- The skin is yellowish, peachy or golden. You tan quickly.
This means you have a lot of melanin. Then you probably have a warm undertone.

 

 

Cold– This type of skin has hints of a bluish, pink or ruddy complexion and is sensitive to strong sun.
This means you have less melanin. Then your undertone is cold.
Dark-skinned ladies can also have cold undertones.

Neutral- has no obvious overtones of pink or sallow skin,
but the natural color of the skin is more obvious. This type of skin does not easily tan in the sun.

How do you determine the undertone of your skin?

Look at the color of your veins. Choose a place on your body where your veins are clearly visible, such as your wrist.

 

In a bright place, preferably one with natural light, look at the inside of your forearm, close to the wrist,

 

pay attention to the color of your veins. If they are bluish or purple, your subtone is Kold, if they are greenish then your subtone is Warm.

If you can't distinguish between bluish and greenish, then your subtone is probably NEutral.Yellowandpink gold

are more in tune with warm skin tones andwhite goldwith cool skin tones.

 

Neutral skin goes with everything but especially with rose gold.
